Steve Burks, a native of Gary, Indiana (home of the Jacksons), is a singer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and composer steeped in soul music. Having marinated in the music of the black church for over 30 years, he's also a graduate of the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.The DNA result is soul + precision. Steve has taught music at the K-12 and college level, does arrangements for the sheet-music publishing industry, and performed on cruise ships for 9 years.
